If I were to tell a lie, a lie, rest assured
it would be as white as Rodin’s torso
You only believe in having fun on Sunday
The next day you’re dull, so I know it must be Monday
You play in Fake Land, so I don’t believe you

I want to learn to believe and be happy, to be an adult
One thing I know is, it’s important to cry when watching movies
You give off the sickly-sweet smell of an oil painting
Like a famous child painter, a beautiful portrait
But you only paint lies, so I don’t believe you

Fingers, lips, they’re useless for seeing through lies, they believe in jealousy

It’s scary, scary to believe, allow me to be discreet
I don’t, I don’t think I can do it, that’s my stance on the matter
But I’m not very attached to it, like an indoor dog that’s given away
The other day, I had to cut my long, chestnut hair, what a relief
But if you told me it looked good, I wouldn’t believe you

If I were to tell a lie, a lie, rest assured
It would be as white as Rodin’s thorns

Fingers, lips, they’re useless for seeing through lies, they believe in jealousy
A windowless room where it’s always night
Fingers, lips, they love to believe

EDIT: I originally misread part of the lyrics as “ロダンのトルン,” or Rodin’s thorn, but I recently listened to the song again and realized that she was singing “ロダンのトルソ,” or Rodin’s torso, instead. I mistook the ソ (so) for an ン (n) when simply reading the lyrics, and since トルン is a word as much as トルソ, it didn’t stick out until hearing the words again late last night. I apologize for the error, and here’s to double-checking my readings of katakana from now on.
